The haystack is easier to read when you search in small blocks. Collect one section, pause, inspect the newly opened space, and then choose the next section.
A simple search rhythm
- Aim at a hay patch.
- Press the left mouse button to collect hay on PC.
- Work through a small nearby section.
- Stop and scan the fresh opening.
- Repeat until the needle is visible, then take it to the farmer.
For the full hay-to-cow loop, start with the general walkthrough.
Keep each block readable
Pick one visible patch and finish the easy pieces there. When the surface changes, stop clicking and inspect the gap. Look at the edges of the remaining hay before moving on. This pause makes small changes easier to notice.
If the scene feels crowded, change one thing at a time: move to the next small block, turn your view, and scan again. Repeating the same clicks in the same place only makes the search harder to follow.
Use cash to reduce friction
When your bag is full, take the hay to the cow and trade it for cash. Then press Tab to view the upgrades available in your round. Compare Bag if repeated trips are the problem, Grasp if each click gives too little hay, or Hold if constant clicking is tiring. Choose the option that matches your current bottleneck.
When the needle appears
The needle can be visible while hay is still around it. You do not need to wait for an empty pile. Equip the needle and take it to the farmer, following the instruction on screen.
