Treat a secret hunt as a search task, separate from the ending route. The five names below are useful labels for choosing what to look for; the locations are leads to try, so switch areas when your map differs.
Quick search flow
- Choose one needle label: Standard, Shiny, Golden, Mystery, or ALIEN.
- Sweep one area at a time and interact when a needle appears.
- Try the Chapter 1 South Field lead for Golden, or the Chapter 2 Catacombs and Vault lead for Mystery.
- If the target is a UFO, switch to the UFO guide instead.
Needle labels to track
| Search label | What to look for | Practical use |
|---|---|---|
| Standard | A normal needle model | Start with the nearest open area |
| Shiny | A visibly different model | Check the same area before moving on |
| Golden | A gold needle model | Try the South Field lead first |
| Mystery | A needle near a door or puzzle | Try the Catacombs/Vault lead in Chapter 2 |
| ALIEN | An unusual model or nearby clue | Interact if the game presents a prompt |
1. Start with one area
Do: In Chapter 1, sweep the South Field before moving to another area. A simple South → North → West → East → center order helps you avoid repeatedly checking the same patch.
Look for: A needle model, unusual color, or an interaction prompt.
Next: Interact with the needle if a prompt appears. If nothing happens, move to the next area.
2. Check the Chapter 2 lead
Do: In Chapter 2, inspect the Catacombs and Vault areas when you are following a Mystery needle lead. If a Door 1 or puzzle path is present, note the door and the visible change separately.
Look for: The needle itself, nearby doors, and a clear interaction prompt.
Next: Return to the Chapter 2 guide for the normal objective when the search blocks progress.
3. Keep objects separate
The UFO guide covers a different discovery target. A needle sighting does not automatically explain a UFO clue. When the goal is a hidden route, compare the Secret Ending guide and keep the two searches separate.
If a label or location does not match your game, leave the area and continue with the visible objective. The wiki index helps you switch to badges, chapters, or item guides.
